2008 pampered pooch fashion show
barking babies™ is going to hold it's 3rd Pampered Pooch Fashion Show at the Vancouver Home + Interior Design Show at BC Place this year! Last year, we helped raise $1700 for the BCSPCA, so please come join us this year to raise even more. Saturday, October 18th at 2 pm.the 4th annual howl-o-ween pooch party

The first of our breed-specific appreciation parties for all the Yorkie addicts in our barking babies™ family.Thank you to all the fantastic Yorkie owners and their dogs who participated and had a GREAT time with us. It was crazy! That many Yorkies filling one space was like a herd of sugared-up children running in every direction looking for fun and excitement.

2007 howl-o-ween party
Thanks to our great family of barking babies™ doggies and parents, plus our appearance on City TV's Breakfast Television that morning, our Howl-OOOOO-Ween Pooch Party on October 31st was a great success!About 50 costumed canines partied with each other and snacked on amazing organic treats.

saints rescue
Every month, barking babies™ sponsors a different senior dog in need with Saints. We are now taking cash donations in store to help us raise $2000 by Christmas 2008 for the loving senior saints dogs.
SAINTS was started in December 2004 after volunteers at other animal shelters saw many senior animals spending their last days in a shelter or pound. From the time they opened their doors, the number of animals in need has been astounding and ever-growing. When SAINTS moved into it's first location it started with 16 cats, 12 dogs and 2 rabbits. SAINTS has since found it's permanent home on 3 beautiful acres in Mission, BC with a warm and cozy home, a sturdy and well constructed barn, several outbuildings just waiting to be renovated for future use plus fields to play in and a pond to swim in... they have found a little bit of heaven on earth for our very special friends.
Since December 2004, SAINTS has had over a hundred and fifty animals come in through it's doors. Sixty-six of them have been adopted into wonderful loving homes. Seventy-three have passed away in loving care at SAINTS and the remaining 75 still call SAINTS their home.
They pledge to love them, to care for them, and make their dreams come true. They promise each of them that they will never be alone again.

barking babies™ donates to pet finder every year - 100% of the profits from our annual "Dogs of Yaletown" calendar. This year we raised over $250.00! Thank you to all those who purchased our 2007 calendar.
BCSPCA
Founded in 1895, BCSPCA is the largest animal welfare organization of its kind in North America. They rely almost entirely on donations to support their work, providing cruelty investigations, sheltering, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, cruelty prevention, education and advocacy programs, adoptions, and emergency rescue for nearly 50,000 abandoned, injured and abused animals in BC every year.
In 2007, barking babies™ raised over $5000 for the BCSPCA! Thank you all for your help and love!
