is it for all dogs?

It works great on all shedding dogs long-fur or short-fur (like our Jack Russell!) and also amazing on coarse coat terriers that require hand stripping. We did not like it for our Yorkie. She has hair so a pinned brush works better for her. Other dogs Furminator is not recommended for: Poodles, Shitzus, Maltese, Bichons, Portuguese Water dogs and Water Spaniels.
